Chaibasa

Chaibasa is one of the tribal cities and is home to various tribes such as the Santhal, Baiga, Banjara, Bathudi, Kharwar and others. The prime attraction of the site is the tribal festivals, which are accompanied with music and various forms of dance. Possessing historical and religious significance, the city is known for its temples, mountain slopes, gardens, dams, hills and water springs. Chaliyama Dam, Rungta Garden, Lutheran Jheel and Shahid Park are some of the popular sightseeing attractions.
